Your license

Buying Stargazer gives you a personal, non-transferable lifetime license, tied to your GitHub account and usable on every device you own. You may not resell, redistribute or share it.

Trial

Every GitHub account gets one 7-day trial with everything unlocked. After that, buy a license to keep using the app.

Payment and refunds

One payment, no subscription. Polar takes payments as Merchant of Record and handles refunds under their 14-day policy. A refund deactivates the license. Prices may change, but never for a purchase already made.

Fair use

Use the app lawfully, and within the terms of GitHub and any AI provider you connect to it. The keys and accounts you connect are yours to look after.

Third-party services

Stargazer talks to GitHub, to Polar for payments, and to whichever AI provider you choose. Their own terms apply to your use of them.

Not affiliated with GitHub

Stargazer is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GitHub, Inc. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc., and Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. We use those names only to say what Stargazer works with.

Warranty and liability

Stargazer comes "as is", with no warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data. Keep your own backups.

Changes

These terms may change. The "last updated" date above marks material changes, and using the app after that means you accept them.
